Slice: Ceramic Safety Cutting Tools
Slice makes cutting tools with finger-friendly® ceramic blades. Safe to the touch, they provide an effortless, optimal cutting experience, so you can cut with confidence and focus on the task at hand. Slice develops a wide variety of cutting tools with their ceramic blades to improve cutting safety for hobbyists, professionals, and corporate warehouse workers alike.
Patrick and Herbst Produkt were tasked with developing multiple different cutting tools based on consumer needs. Patrick has helped bring to market over 6 unique products for the Slice brand. Three products are featured below including the Manual Mini Scraper, Retractable Precision Cutter, and EDC Folding Knife.

Manual Mini Scraper
The Manual Mini Scraper is compact and portable tool that can be used to scrape off stickers, clean counters, or remove labels. This design includes a retractable blade for added safety when not in use. The housing is designed to come apart for blade replacement. The unique shape of this design provides a secure grip when scraping. This design was developed to utilize a standard sized razor blade.

Retractable Precision Cutter
The Retractable Precision Cutter is ideal for accurately cutting thin materials. Its familiar pen-shaped design gives the user comfort, control and ease of use, while a simple click of the end of the tool exposes and retracts the micro-blade. From daily use on the production floor to improving arts and crafts skills, the Retractable Precision Cutter makes common cutting tasks safer and easier.

EDC Folding Knife
The EDC Folding Knife is the ideal safety tool for carrying around with you at home, work, or in nature. This design features a spring-assisted opening mechanism. A quick release button allows for on the go blade change. An anodized aluminum lanyard attachment can be used for attaching to a keychain.
